THERMO SENIOR PROCESS TECHNICIAN - Warren County, TN COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This role will focus on process optimization, equipment performance, troubleshooting, waste reduction, quality, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.

This role will focus on process optimization, equipment performance, troubleshooting, waste reduction, quality, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
What You'll Do
- Oversee thermoforming operations to support equipment performance, product quality, and production schedules
- Develop and implement process improvements for thick- and thin-wall thermoforming operations
- Troubleshoot thermoforming equipment and production issues to minimize downtime
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
- Support preventative maintenance programs for thermoforming equipment
- Partner with quality teams to resolve thermoformed product issues and improve process stability
- Train and mentor team members on thermoforming techniques, best practices, and safety procedures
- Ensure thermoforming activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain production data, maintenance records, quality documentation, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, design, quality, R&D, and supply chain teams on process and product improvements
- Support coordination between extrusion and thermoforming operations to improve workflow and production performance
- Review manufacturing designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and production processes for manufacturability
- Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and design-for-manufacturability initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams to resolve production and process issues
- Extensive experience with thick- and thin-wall thermoforming operations and processing
- Strong hands-on knowledge of thermoforming equipment, materials, tooling, troubleshooting, and process optimization
- Experience identifying manufacturing issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
- Ability to analyze production performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and safety
- Previous Quality Management System experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively across departments and levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and related business systems
- Reliable transportation
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Production Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience with thick- and thin-wall thermoforming operations and processing
- 5 years of engineering and design experience
- 5 years of extrusion experience
- Previous direct personnel management or team leadership experience
- Experience working with a variety of thermoforming materials, thicknesses, and product sizes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, design for manufacturability, CAD, or manufacturing simulation tools
