This is a great opportunity for a senior-level tax professional who enjoys hands-on tax work, client interaction, and mentoring within a stable, family-friendly firm environment. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and review federal and state tax returns including: 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 990 Review financial statements and accounting records for tax preparation Reconcile business accounts including bank statements, credit cards, and fixed assets Serve as a key liaison between partners and clients Perform tax research and provide well-reasoned conclusions Assist with mentoring and supporting junior staff as needed What Our Client Is Looking For 5 years of tax experience within a CPA firm environment Strong experience preparing complex individual and business returns CPA or EA preferred (not required) Proficiency with QuickBooks Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax or similar tax software Solid understanding of payroll, depreciation, A/P, and A/R Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines Professional communication and client-service mindset High level of discretion and confidentiality Why This Role Stable firm with long-term client relationships Supportive, easy-going team culture Real work-life balance (no constant grind mentality) Clear opportunity for growth and long-term career stability Partnership potential for the right individual Work Environment In-office role Family-friendly, flexible environment Collaborative, relationship-driven firm culture
