Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists in providing outstanding rehabilitative care. The PTA will help implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients through therapeutic exercises and interventions, and contribute to a positive clinical environment focused on recovery and long-term wellness.
Job Responsibilities: Carry out treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, balance, gait, and functional mobility training. Administer modalities and manual techniques under supervision. Observe, document, and communicate patient progress and any changes in condition. Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention strategies. Maintain an organized and clean treatment environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education.
Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active or eligible PTA license in the state of Florida Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow clinical direction and adapt treatment approaches. Basic proficiency in EMR documentation and rehab software. Commitment to providing quality, patient-centered care.
