Patient Care Coordinator
Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant
Location: San Diego, CA (Sorrento Valley Area)
Compensation: $30/hour base performance-based commission (OTE ~$80,000/year)

Our client is an award-winning, fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon who specializes in advanced cosmetic facial procedures and attracts patients nationwide for his expertise in rhinoplasty, facelifts, and eyelid surgery.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a, patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant who can seamlessly blend clinical support with patient consultation and practice coordination. This is a highly visible role requiring professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong ability to build trust with patients throughout their surgical journey.
This role will also support suture removal, along with performing consultations, booking and scheduling surgeries, and assisting with social media as well.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients from initial inquiry through post-operative care Conduct patient consultations, educate on procedures, and guide patients through treatment options Schedule and coordinate surgeries, appointments, and follow-ups Perform clinical duties including suture removal and general medical assisting support Assist the surgeon and clinical team as needed during patient visits Manage patient communications (phone, email, in-office) with a high level of professionalism Support social media efforts, including capturing content and assisting with basic posting/engagement Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a seamless patient experience Qualifications Certified or experienced Medical Assistant (required) Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetics strongly preferred Comfortable performing suture removal and basic clinical procedures Strong sales/consultative skills with ability to convert consultations to booked procedures Highly polished, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Social media familiarity (Instagram, etc.) is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment What We Offer Competitive base pay commission structure (OTE ~$80K ) Opportunity to work with a top-tier facial plastic surgeon Growth potential within a premier aesthetic practice Collaborative, high-performance team environment,
