- Build strong long term relationships with customers throughout the territory
- Drive year over year sales growth within assigned accounts
- Travel daily throughout the South San Francisco territory meeting with customers
- Present promotions, sales initiatives, and new product offerings
- Identify growth opportunities through CRM reporting and sales analysis
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Partner closely with branch managers and inside sales teams to ensure exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with product training and online ordering adoption
- Create and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
- 5 years of outside sales experience
- Experience within automotive distribution, wholesale distribution, parts distribution, or logistics required
- Automotive aftermarket experience strongly preferred
- Strong relationship building and customer facing experience
- Proven success growing accounts and hitting aggressive sales goals
- CRM experience required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast paced sales environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
