Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of their payment processing software within the industrial and manufacturing sectors, with a strong focus on the concrete industry. This role is ideal for a sales professional who has successfully sold to industrial clients, understands the unique challenges of the manufacturing space, and thrives in a consultative sales environment.
Job Responsibilities: Prospect, develop, and close new business with industrial and manufacturing clients, specifically in the concrete industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging industry knowledge to tailor solutions to customer needs. Drive territory growth, identifying opportunities within new and existing accounts. Educate and consult with clients on how our payment processing software can optimize financial operations. Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless sales process. Maintain a deep understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sectors, staying informed about market trends, competitive offerings, and customer challenges. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications: 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling to industrial/manufacturing clients. Proven success in territory management, account expansion, and business development. Strong knowledge of the concrete, cement, or manufacturing industry and experience working with contractors, suppliers, and distributors. Technical aptitude to understand and effectively communicate software capabilities. Excellent relationship management skills, with a track record of retaining and growing client accounts. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet sales targets. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
