Job Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and build the HR function for a fast-growing manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting employees across production, sales, and corporate teams while overseeing the entire employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable recruiting top talent, coaching managers, ensuring compliance, administering benefits, and improving HR systems and processes. Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Lead full-cycle recruiting for production, sales, and corporate positions. Partner with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and attract top talent. Manage job postings, interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding. Oversee I-9s, E-Verify, new hire orientation, and onboarding programs.
Employee Relations & Culture
Serve as the primary HR resource for employee questions and concerns. Coach managers on employee relations, performance issues, and conflict resolution. Foster a positive, accountable, and engaging workplace culture. Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
Performance Management
Coordinate performance review processes and goal setting. Assist leaders with employee development and succession planning. Manage performance improvement plans and disciplinary documentation.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
Support compensation planning and market benchmarking. Administer employee benefits, PTO, 401(k), and open enrollment. Coordinate payroll processing and timekeeping with Finance.
Compliance & HR Operations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain employee records, HR policies, and the employee handbook. Oversee workers' compensation, OSHA coordination, and leave administration. Manage HRIS, reporting, offboarding, and continuous process improvements. Qualifications: 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience. 2 years in an HR Generalist, HR Lead, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager role. Manufacturing, production, or other hourly workforce experience strongly preferred. Proven experience recruiting both hourly and salaried employees. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices. Experience administering HRIS, payroll, and employee benefits. Excellent communication, coaching, and employee relations skills. Organized, proactive, and comfortable building HR processes in a growing company. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Multi-state HR experience is a plus. About the Company:
