Position: Global Procurement Specialist (Pharmacy Technician Background Required)
Location: Hillsborough, NC (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually benefits
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a Pharmacy Technician background who is interested in transitioning into the business side of the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain operations, managing the process from medication sourcing through shipment.

Responsibilities Source prescription and over-the-counter medications from approved vendors Research hard-to-find and backordered medications Negotiate vendor pricing and apply company pricing structures Prepare and send customer quotes Process purchase orders using the company's ERP system Coordinate shipments and verify order accuracy Manage cold chain and controlled medication shipments when necessary Track shipments and communicate order updates with customers Maintain accurate records and support day-to-day procurement operations Qualifications Pharmacy Technician experience required Strong knowledge of NDCs, brand and generic medications, and dosage forms Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer systems Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen About the Company
