Job Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from scheduled medical appointments
- Assist elderly patients in and out of vehicles and medical facilities
- Follow transport protocols and accurately document each trip
- Maintain professionalism when working with patients who may be quiet, particular, or routine-driven
- Handle minor blood exposure without hesitation
- Wear the provided uniform and maintain neat grooming at all times
- Complete a structured week-long training program to learn all procedures and expectations
- Active EMT-B certification (must be current, with no upcoming expiration)
- Up-to-date CPR certification
- Experience working with elderly individuals (home health, assisted living, EMS, hospital, etc.)
- Comfortable around wounds and minor blood exposure
- Dependable, patient, and able to work early morning weekday shifts
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm, respectful, and steady
