Job Summary
The Commercial Lighting Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day performance of its lighting division. This leadership position is responsible for driving operational efficiency, supporting project execution, managing field and office personnel, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial lighting or electrical contracting, enjoys leading teams, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities: Direct the daily operations of the commercial lighting division. Lead project scheduling, resource planning, and workflow coordination. Manage field technicians and support staff to ensure efficient project execution. Monitor project progress, timelines, and overall departmental performance. Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and service delivery. Collaborate with estimating, sales, and operations teams to support project success. Assist with proposal development, budgeting, and project planning when needed. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within quality standards.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of management or leadership experience within commercial lighting, electrical contracting, construction, or a related industry. Demonstrated experience managing personnel, operations, project schedules, or service teams. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Knowledge of commercial lighting systems and electrical infrastructure. Experience with project management, scheduling, or service management software. Estimating or quoting experience is considered an asset. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Customer-focused with a commitment to operational excellence.,
