We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Perform plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain lines or water supply connections.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks involving repair, equipment replacement, or system upgrades as needed.
- Operate a company vehicle safely to transport tools or equipment between job sites.
- Collaborate with team members on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) projects to optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong mechanical background.
- Construction knowledge combined with hands-on experience in system installation and repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design principles.
- Experience working with plumbing systems related to HVAC units.
- Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; chauffeur driver certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of property maintenance practices along with repair skills.
- Knowledge of gas furnace operation and maintenance is a plus.
