About the Role
Callahan Heating & Cooling is hiring two residential HVAC service technicians to join our growing team. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems for residential customers across the Springfield area. Prior HVAC experience is a plus, but not required — we're committed to training the right candidate from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
Perform routine maintenance and seasonal system tune-ups
Communicate clearly with homeowners about their system and any recommended repairs
Complete service documentation accurately and on time
Work independently in the field with full team support behind you
What We're Looking For
EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
HVAC experience preferred — we will train the right person
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors in all weather
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
