What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Podiatry position at Crawford Podiatry?
We are seeking an energetic, friendly Medical Assistant for a fast-paced Podiatry office in Butler. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred. The position is full-time, back office. Ideal candidate will have at least one year of medical office experience, including the use of EHR's. Excellent typing skills and grammar are a must. Candidate will be required to take a course and pass an examination to become Podiatric Radiology Certified.
Duties include:
Rooming the patients, taking a history of their problem, cleaning and restocking exam rooms, applying bandages, assisting with minor surgical procedures, taking x-rays, recording patient encounters in EHR.
