What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping & Janitorial) position at Crawford County Memorial Hospital?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and care areas including certain departments in the hospital.

Floor cleaning and refinishing for hard floors and carpet.

Collection, packaging and disposal of trash, recyclables, Shred, and biohazard waste.

Assist in the laundry process as needed.

Responsible for monitoring mechanical equipment.
-
Light snow removal from entryways.
-
Demonstrates values and behaviors according to Values Statement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be able to read and write

Must be familiar with cleaning chemicals and mixtures
