: Performs work in the park maintenance of County parks and facilities. Work will be primarily performed at Creekside or West Craven Parks.
: - Works part-time through the Spring, Summer, and Fall months to assist with park maintenance.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid NC Driver's license. Experience operating mowing and field maintenance equipment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to perform strenuous work under varying weather conditions including hot outdoor environments.
Ability to exercise tact with the general public.
Ability to lift equipment, paint, and line marking equipment up to 75 pounds.

- Keeps Park areas clean of trash and debris.
- Sanitizes and cleans bathrooms.
- Prepares and maintains athletic fields for weekend games and tournaments, cleans restrooms and shelters.
- Mows and trims fields and common grounds.
- Work also requires considerable tact as you will come into contact on a regular basis with the general public.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to work special events and programs as needed.
