The Systems Engineer will be responsible for building, configuring and deploying critical infrastructure used across the organization. They will be responsible for providing 24x7 operational support along with executing infrastructure related projects. This is a combination of infrastructure administration, engineering, and architecture.

A day in the life as a Systems Engineer...
- Partner with technical administrators, application developers, and other technical peers to create robust, scalable infrastructure solutions
- Coordinate and execute projects associated with the installation, configuration and deployment of compute, storage, and virtualization technologies
- Contribute and support disaster recovery activities and strategy
- Script and automate routine tasks
- Participate in annual business audits and provide all related documentation to appropriate team(s)
- Participate in the evaluation of new infrastructure technologies
- Recommend optimizations to the environment which improve delivery and performance for end users and customers
- Establish standard operating procedures for building and deploying infrastructure
- Resolve incidents and work orders escalated from the Service Desk
- Provide technical training to Service Desk, Operations, and relevant parties
- Serve as after hour, weekend and holiday support, as necessary
- Maintain and support infrastructure at remote locations
What you’ll bring to the table…
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience integrating with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Automation experience with one or more of the following. (vRA/vRO, PowerShell, PowerCli, Terraform)
- Understand and implementation of Configuration management technologies (Salt, Ansible)
- Knowledge of VMware NSX - a plus
- Strong reading and writing skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3 Years Systems Engineering experience in a hybrid-cloud environment with hands-on experience with VMware, Linux (RHEL) and Windows Infrastructure
Minimum Starting Rate: $80,000.00 Annually
Up to: $100,000.00 Annually
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
