Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to create durable structures
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to support various construction tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor necessary for site preparation and material handling
- Conduct masonry work, including stucco, plastering, tile laying, and flooring installation
- Support carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roof repairs or installations
- Aid in renovation projects by performing demolition, restoration, caulking, and drywall work as needed
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in construction environments
- Proficiency in construction estimating and interpreting schematics or blueprints
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring, pumping, and finishing techniques
- Experience operating power tools, heavy machinery, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of masonry practices including stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, and welding
- Ability to perform heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards on-site
- Familiarity with commercial driving for transporting materials or equipment when required
