LOCATION: Piqua, Ohio BUSINESS UNIT: Crane Pumps & Systems DEPARTMENT: Operations SEGMENT: Process Flow Technologies REPORTS TO: Plant Manager BASIC FUNCTION: Be a productive member of the CP&S team, assisting in various functions to help meet the goals of the organization. Working hand in hand with numerous departments to complete activities that will challenge the associate both physically and mentally. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Learn to operate a wide range of equipment (floor grinders, dust collection systems, drill presses, etc.) Support the movement of equipment and landmarks throughout the facility Understand and drive the philosophies of lean manufacturing, 5S, and the Crane Business System Assist in the Assembling and Disassembling of Ridge racks Implement visuals throughout the organization by means of painting, creating signage, laminating, etc. Help in various material replenishment activities Provide support to maintenance and other departments that need additional resources Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Must be 18 years or older Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently Good written/verbal communication skills Mechanical aptitude preferred Crane Pumps & Systems will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
