QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Sixty (60) college credits or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment exam taken within the last 10 years required.
3. Previous experience working with students preferred.
4. Ability to work harmoniously with staff and students.
REPORTS TO:
Principal
JOB GOAL:
To enable students, through meaningful playground leadership, enjoy the group interaction and physical exercise which are an integral part of the district educational program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises students at play time and maintains a harmonious atmosphere on the playground.
- Organizes group games and activities.
- Assumes responsibility for play equipment.
- Takes part in in-service training programs.
- Directs movement of groups to and from playground.
- Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Work year, salary and benefits as established by the Board.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job shall be evaluated by the Building Principal in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
3 hours a day;
5 days a week / 184 days a year
