Crane Currency has an immediate opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in our Manufacturing Engineering department. This role is full time, onsite, and is based out of Alpharetta, Georgia.

- Implement and support process changes and monitor their impact
- Participate in process validation and qualification activities
- Clearly define and manage key projects to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality and production yields
- Participate in developing core quality tools such as FMEAs, MSAs Control Plans Statistical Process Control.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- You must currently be enrolled in a degree program with an accredited school to be eligible for consideration; pursuing a Batchelder's degree in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Process Engineering principles and methodologies
- Minitab and Excel experience essential
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Preferred
- Work experience in Manufacturing a plus
