How You Will Make An Impact
As a Lead IT Security Analyst, you will serve as a senior technical expert guiding our cybersecurity strategy and leading high-impact security initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leaders, embedding security into every aspect of operations. Your leadership in incident response, risk management, and enterprise-wide security solutions will be instrumental in protecting our organization from threats. You’ll also mentor others and foster a culture of security awareness and accountability.
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide security initiatives and projects.
- Oversee the investigation and resolution of high-severity security incidents.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to reduce organizational exposure.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Evaluate and implement advanced security technologies and tools.
- Represent the security function in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts to build team capability.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
- 8–10 years of experience in IT, including systems and network administration, security, vulnerability management, and strategic planning.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional security projects.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
Preferred
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent advanced certification.
- Experience with cloud security and hybrid environments.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
