As a Manufacturing Operator you would be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. This role involves setting up machines, adjusting controls, and performing routine checks to maintain optimal performance throughout the papermaking process. Operators follow strict safety and quality standards, inspecting raw materials and finished products to meet specifications. You will troubleshoot issues, perform minor maintenance, and escalate complex problems to technical teams when necessary. Accurate documentation of production data and adherence to environmental and safety regulations are key aspects of the position. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will get the opportunity to progress in a series of different roles and responsibilities as you learn the four different job junctions within the Manufacturing Operator position .

• Load correct stock onto conveyor belts.
• Enter stock information into the information systems and on written logs/records
• Clip bands/wires on baled broke or stock.
• Cleaning the tanks/chests.
• Prepare pulper for new batch of stock.

Required
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Industrial experience, helpful
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to learn basic computer programs; e mail, scanning, data entry
• Ability to pass Power Truck Certification, and safely operate power trucks
• Must be willing and able to work any shift arrangement and overtime as needed

The salary range for this role is $25.64 – $37.00 hourly. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location. With shift differentials including 7.5% for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift workers. (This position offers a progressive pay structure. You will complete training and demonstrate proficiency at each defined levels of responsibility in order to advance through the series of 4 different job functions as a Manufacturing Operator).
