What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer position at CraigCecilio.com?
About Us
DiversyFund is a real-estate investment company building an AI-integrated platform for raising and managing capital. We run live, revenue-generating systems, and we're scaling toward an operating system that other capital operators will run their businesses on.
The Role
You'll be our first dedicated DevOps / Platform engineer, working directly with the CTO to turn fast-built systems into rock-solid infrastructure: reproducible, monitored, secure, and recoverable. If you like being the person who makes everything reliable, this is a rare ground-floor seat.
What You'll Do
- Own and codify our AWS infrastructure as infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Stand up monitoring, alerting, and observability across all our systems
- Build safe, fast CI/CD with reliable deploys and rollbacks
- Own security, secrets management, automated backups, and disaster recovery
- Track and optimize cloud spend, and write the operational runbooks we're missing
What You Bring
- 5 years in DevOps / platform / SRE roles running production systems on AWS
- Strong infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent), CI/CD, and containers (Docker; Kubernetes a plus)
- Real experience with monitoring/observability, security hardening, and backup/disaster recovery
- A documentation-first mindset that designs single-points-of-failure out of the system
- Comfort as an early, high-autonomy hire in a small company
Nice to Have
- SOC 2 / regulated or fintech experience
- Multi-tenant SaaS or AI/LLM infrastructure experience
Why Join
You'll set the operational foundation for a platform with live users and a big roadmap, with full ownership and a direct line to leadership.
Compensation
$165,000β$190,000 base, plus performance bonus and equity. San Diego.
Salary : $165,000 - $190,000
