The Admissions Manager provides direction and feedback to the admissions staff. The position also assists the Director of Customer Service in leading the admissions team to successfully help customers. The Admissions Manager may perform routine customer service tasks as needed.

The Benefits
- Position: Admissions Manager
- Location: Roseville, MN
- Schedule:In-office, with work-from-home as needed
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, additional hours required as needed
- Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Admissions Manager provides direction and feedback to the admissions staff. The position also assists the Director of Customer Service in leading the admissions team to successfully help customers. The Admissions Manager may perform routine customer service tasks as needed.
- Performs department 1:1 meetings with admissions staff.
- Coordinates and conducts admissions meetings.
- Coordinates the DME and IV COD and PTO schedule to ensure adequate coverage.
- Addresses/follows up on all CESRs that pertain to the admissions staff.
- Attends EHR Advisory meetings along with any PIG meetings that pertain to admissions.
- Works with Director of Customer Service to develop training protocol for training of admissions staff, including training involving Customer Service computer systems/programs.
- Completes audits pertaining to the admissions departments, including the PES and Order Intake audits.
- Identifies/implements new audits that would assist with improving the overall quality/efficiency of the admissions departments.
- Reviews/updates work instructions and policies that are specific to admissions.
- Monitors Insight, Helpdesk, Individual rolling bins, misc. bin and PA electronic bin and assist with intakes/authorizations/requests that have been problematic.
- Meets with Director of Customer Service on a regular basis regarding needs/concerns and day-to-day operations of the department.
- Performs day to day job duties of the admissions department as needed.
- Maintains a cohesive work environment with all departments of PHS.
- Documents pertinent information on the patient’s records.
- Demonstrates competency in identified areas.
- Adheres to PHS policies and procedures and standards placed by other appropriate regulatory groups
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with Brightree preferred
- Proficiency in order processing systems (Excel, Word, etc.) preferred
- Strong resourcefulness and ability to research and locate information on payer websites
- 3-5 years of customer service experience in the healthcare industry
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred
