Craftsmen Contractors is hiring a Groundskeeper for a manufacturing facility in Minden, La. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday working day shifts. You will be responsible for the upkeep of all grounds and property.
Pay is $13 - $20/hr. depending on experience. Weekly pay by direct deposit.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the upkeep of all grounds and property, including but not limited to grounds maintenance, building upkeep, landscaping, and trash removal.
- You will also be responsible for the safety of fellow employees and guests.
- Work independently and possess a strong work ethic.
- Perform general grounds and building maintenance
- Perform landscaping and trash removal
- Ensure that all buildings are clean and tidy
- Clean restrooms by performing janitorial duties as assigned
- Perform daily safety inspections on building areas and equipment
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and tidy
- Keep a general awareness of the condition of the facility in order to take necessary precautions against damage or accidents.
Requirements:
- Be able to work independently with little supervision or be trained in basic safety procedures.
- Be able to communicate with staff as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Will need to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and must do a face to face interview before being hired.
