Cleaning Attendant

Craftsmen Contractors is hiring for an experienced Cleaning Attendant. This candidate will be responsible for helping clean a large industrial facility in the Minden, La. area. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently and also as part of a large staff. This is a full time temp to permanent position for the right candidate. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday working day shifts. Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Pay rate: $15.40 - 21.45/hr. depending on experience

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, desks, and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Flexible schedule with availability for shifts during weekdays or weekends as needed.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Will need to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Interview face to face prior to being hired.
