Overhead Crane Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator to join our team in Cocoa, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move, lift, and position materials in an industrial environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong coordination, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently
• Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure proper functionality
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel using hand signals or radios
• Maintain accurate records of operations and report any issues or malfunctions
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating overhead cranes (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety procedures
• Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills:

• NCCCO certification or similar crane operation certification
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse settings
• Familiarity with rigging and load securing techniques
