Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter to join our team for overnight work at a school facility in Brevard County. Because of the setting, professionalism and trustworthiness are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general carpentry work including repairs, installations, and modifications
- Work with wood, drywall, and other building materials
- Complete tasks such as framing, trim work, door repairs, and minor renovations
- Follow project plans, blueprints, and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Coordinate with supervisors to complete projects on schedule
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to work overnight hours consistently
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in schools or commercial environments
- Familiarity with maintenance and repair tasks beyond carpentry
- OSHA certification (a plus)
