We have an essential requirement of two years' experience in this particular field for applicants. This job will be Monday-Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM. Occasionally, there may be Saturday involved as well due to increased business load. The pay for this position will be set at $25.00, depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, milling machines, and welding tools to cut, shape, and assemble countertop materials
- Use hand tools and power tools to accurately measure, cut, drill, and finish surfaces according to detailed specifications
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or fabrication area, ensuring proper storage and transportation using forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Fabricate countertops from various materials including stone, quartz, laminate, or solid surface composites with precision and attention to detail
- Assemble finished components into final products, verifying quality standards throughout the process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols and proper materials handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, troubleshooting issues related to machining or assembly as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environments is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or other machinery used in materials handling and fabrication processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining devices
- Knowledge of millwork techniques and materials used in countertop production
- Warehouse experience including inventory management and safety compliance is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge that supports troubleshooting machinery or fabrication issues effectively
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
