Duke's on 7, part of Craft & Crew Hospitality, is hiring an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen in Minnetonka. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can run a strong service, build a dependable team, and balance great food with smart business decisions.

Your Role

As Executive Chef, you'll own the kitchen's daily operations and performance. You'll work alongside your team during service, coach your leaders, and partner with the General Manager and corporate culinary team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Food quality and execution: Deliver consistent food quality, accurate recipes, strong presentation, and timely service.
• Kitchen leadership: Hire, train, coach, and hold your team accountable while creating a respectful, productive workplace.
• Labor and scheduling: Build schedules around sales and business needs, making adjustments that support service and labor goals.
• Food cost and inventory: Manage ordering, prep levels, portion control, inventory, and waste.
• Kitchen operations and safety: Maintain food safety, sanitation, organization, and equipment standards.
• Menu execution: Lead menu rollouts and make sure your team understands recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Business performance: Review results with leadership, identify opportunities, and follow through on improvements.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or a strong Sous Chef ready to lead a kitchen
• Kitchen leadership experience in a busy, full-service restaurant
• A solid understanding of food cost, labor management, purchasing, and inventory
• The ability to lead calmly through high-volume service
• Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and a willingness to address issues directly
• A hands-on approach to training and developing cooks and kitchen leaders
  
  

Schedule & Availability

This full-time position requires 45-50 hours per week, including a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hands-on leadership during peak service times.
