Yes, you read that correctly. We just believe in a work-life balance. With 15 days of paid time off (PTO) and 16 paid holidays, you will have a total of 31 days off (6 weeks) in your first full year with us.

Position Summary:
We're on the hunt for a creative, hands-on Build & Design Specialist who's passionate about turning concepts into functional, market-ready products. This is your chance to make an impact in a growing company where engineering meets imagination.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and test new outdoor home improvement products and components-from concept through production working with aluminum, vinyl, and fasteners)
- Improve existing designs for better performance, easier manufacturing, and great appearance
- Fabricate and assemble parts using hand and power tools, and operate shop equipment (drill presses, punch presses, etc.)
- Create and update 3D models, drawings, and prototypes
- Collaborate with production, installation, sales, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life
- Research materials, suppliers, and technologies to keep us ahead of the curve
- Maintain safe, clean work areas and uphold Craft-Bilt's high quality standards
- Occasionally travel to dealer sites or training seminars
What We're Looking For
- Experience in product design, fabrication, carpentry, or related trades
- Strong mechanical and design aptitude with an eye for detail and craftsmanship
- Comfortable using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar) and hand/power tools
- Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (especially aluminum, vinyl, and fasteners)
- A creative problem-solver who thrives on turning ideas into real, functional products
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
