Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a warehouse facility, with a primary focus on warehouse offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. This role is essential in providing a clean, safe, and professional environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and warehouse common areas
- Refill restroom and breakroom supplies such as paper products and soap
- Maintain floors through basic care such as mopping and spot cleaning (light floor care as needed)
- Wipe down surfaces including desks, tables, door handles, and high-touch areas
- Safely use cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals according to guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management
- Maintain an organized janitorial closet and cleaning supplies
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial cleaning experience, preferably in a warehouse or commercial setting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and supplies
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
