Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel instantly welcomed.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Answer phone inquiries with clear, friendly communication, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations.
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain a tidy and organized host station, ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and presentable.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Support the team during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Background in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices.
- Previous experience working in food service, serving, or hotel settings is advantageous.
