Job Summary
We are a small, family-owned business seeking a motivated and outgoing Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you would be responsible for administrative duties, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities would also include answering phone calls, greeting prospective clients and vendors, using QuickBooks online to maintain accurate bookkeeping, and assist our shop team with project and workflow management. Our ideal candidate would be highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and help develop relevant office procedures
- Bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Greet and assist clients
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person
- Communicate project updates to our shop team
- Manage and maintain relationships with current Clients and Vendors
- Place and track orders for shop supplies and equipment as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar position
- Experience using QuickBooks Online (Certification Preferred)
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping tasks and GAAP
- Familiarity with construction or manufacturing industries is a plus
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Must be comfortable with cats; we have two that live in our office space
Salary : $750 - $900
