Crème de la Crumb is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher / Janitorial Team Member. This position is essential to keeping our bakery clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Schedule
- 35–40 hours per week
- Weekend availability required
- 9:00-5:00
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, sheet pans, mixing bowls, utensils, and bakery equipment.
- Keep the kitchen, dish area, and workstations clean and organized throughout the day.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and dining areas.
- Empty trash and recycling and maintain waste stations.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Wipe down counters, walls, doors, windows, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Restock cleaning supplies and paper products as needed.
- Assist with light cleaning projects and general maintenance throughout the bakery.
- Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams whenever needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
- Able to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
- Previous dishwashing or janitorial experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
