- Operate POS systems such as Toast and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with customers through friendly conversation, understanding their preferences, and providing personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, equipment sanitation, and general tidiness to uphold food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Toast & Micros POS confidently.
