Summary
Candidate will join Capital Markets Operations (CMO), which has global responsibility for all operational support functions (MO and BO) dedicated to market activities. Within CMO, the Markets Middle Offices (CMM) are responsible for controlling the booking of transactions in CACIB's Front Office and Back Office tools and for managing the transaction lifecycle.
The Capital Markets Middle Office scope includes:
- Trading & Sales Support Middle Office

- Securitization Middle Office
- FO to BO Processing & Reconciliation Middle Office
- Fees & Brokerage Middle Office
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of a Middle Officer in Equity Trading Support fall within the scope of providing support for Strategic Equity Trading, Equity Investment Solutions, and Global Repo and Indexing activities.
This includes the following activities:
- Corporate Investment Solutions
- Convertible Bonds
- Equity Investment Solutions
- Equity Finance and Delta One
- Corporate Investment solutions
- Convertibles Bonds
- Equity Investment Solutions
- Equity Finance et Delta One
Level 1 and 2 Controls
- Control of transaction modeling initiated by the Front Office in the SOPHIS FO application
- Control and validation of deals before issuance, by linking the order book, term sheet, and booking in Sophis system
- Monitoring and validation of invoices
- Liaison between the Front Office, Operations (MO/BO/Cross-functional), and IT Support
- Monitoring of Front Office to Back Office breaks reported by other teams in the chain
- Participation and support for continuous improvement and process optimization projects (specifications, user testing, process documentation) in collaboration with project teams, IT teams, and management
Data, Reference Data, Lifecycle
- Monitoring and management of the market data reference data (Stocks, indices, proprietary indices, Third Parties, calendars) with internal or external providers
- Monitoring and control of the reference data for listed Derivatives products (Options and futures)
- Tracking, calculation, and validation of events impacting the lifecycle of a structured product (coupons, Corporate Actions, early partial closure, early exercise, maturity, notional changes, etc.)
- Maintaining on-call duty before market opening and after closing to ensure accurate reflection of market information in our systems
- Modeling and booking of Corporate Actions in the Front Office system
Education Essential
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
Education Desirable
- Master's degree
Experience Essential
- Minimum of 6 years of cumulative banking/financial services experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in MO Equity trading support
- Prior experience with Equity Derivatives market products is required: Mandatory theoretical and operational knowledge of Equity Derivatives (Vanilla and Structured)
