Team and position
Credit Agricole is among world top 10 banking groups. Our NY based Leveraged Finance team is directly responsible for origination and execution of LBOs with leading Private Equity Funds in North America, as well as financings for leveraged (non-investment grade) corporates, across loans and HY bonds. In addition, the team is also in charge of event driven financings (M&A and IPO related) for Investment Grade clients, and of leveraged / structured financing transactions in the TMT sector, including the current wave of infrastructure flavored deals (towercos, data centers, fibercos, GPU Financings) with Infrastructure Funds, across North America and Latam. It is referred to internally as the “LATFG” team (Leveraged, Acquisition & TMT Finance).
Building on its recent successes, the team is expanding to support its strong growth ambitions. In order to address the increasing volumes of credit and reporting management work generated by our expanding loan portfolio, we are setting up a portfolio management (PFM) team.
We are opening a Portfolio Management analyst position. The analyst will report to the Director in charge of Portfolio Management, with regular interaction with the origination part of LATFG team.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, structure and execute corporate financing transactions in the loan markets with the capacity to analyze the underlying creditworthiness of the potential borrowers
- Identify financing solutions for clients across debt capital markets with emphasis on loan syndications
- Production of offers, pitches and term sheets with Relationship Manager
- Marketing responsibility for pitches to clients and development and expansion of business
- Prepare capital structure assessments which include analysis of the credit profile, comparable transactions and analysis of market data
- Oversee the preparation of pitch books and market updates for clients, Information Memoranda for lead transactions and slides (as well as Q&A ) for bank meetings
- Negotiation of execution of term sheets, commitment documents and credit documents in liaison with legal counsel
- Prepare of syndication strategies and contribute to underwriting and credit processes
- Assist the selling of participations in syndicated transactions in the primary market
- Supervise and develop junior staff
Education:
- BA/BS degree or MBA/masters degree
- Relevant academic background (BA/BS degree with economics/finance major coursework)
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant experience in banking preferable, including capital markets exposure
Skills & Knowledge Essential:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong computer skills including use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Familiarity with banking and capital markets
- Credit training and/or credit analysis skills
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
