Role Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Submittals Coordinator to manage the full submittal lifecycle for Division 10 (or "After Paint") products, including shelving, mirrors, shower doors, garage doors, and similar finish items.
This role acts as a key liaison between internal sales representatives, vendors, and external General Contractors (GCs) and Project Managers (PMs), ensuring submittals are accurate, timely, and approved in accordance with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Creating, submitting, and tracking submittals,
- Gather product information, specifications, drawings, and documentation from internal sales reps and vendors,
- Track submittal status and perform follow-ups to help drive timely approvals,
- Managing and maintaining submittal revisions and records, review status, returned comments, etc.,
- Support resubmittals by coordinating requested changes with sales reps and project teams,
- Maintain organized digital records of submittals, revisions, approvals, and correspondence,
- Escalate issues, delays, or missing information to senior team members as needed,
- Ensure approvals align with contract scope and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Experience with construction submittals (Division 10 preferred),
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with GCs, PMs, and sales teams,
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills,
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously,
- Proficient with common construction platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PDFs, email-based submittals)
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
