What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Process Safety Engineer PSM position at CPS, Inc.?
Our client is seeking an experience Process Safety (PSM) professional to take on a highly visible role within their organization. This person will develop and implement the PSM program across 3 transportation and storage sites. While an engineer is ideal, significant relevant experience will also be given consideration. This person can be seated in Houston, Freeport TX, the New Orleans area, or the Baton Rouge area.

Overview of responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Evaluate current facilities and identify areas of improvement, specifically as it relates to Process Safety (PSM) OSHA standards and overall safety
- Someone who is process oriented and able to troubleshoot
- Develop a comprehensive program that includes PHAs, HAZOPs, LOPAs, and personal safety
- Implement this PSM program across 3 transportation and storage sites
- Must work well with others, specifically operators
- This is not a desk job - this is a hands-on, boots to the ground position - this person will be highly visible
- BS in Engineering is preferred, will consider safety degrees with significant relevant PSM experience
- Experience in a dedicated PSM role, coming out of chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, or petrochemical
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; someone ready for a "promotion" is ideal
- Must either have a TWIC card or be able to obtain one
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident; we are not able to support H1B status
- 15% - 22.5% Bonus
