Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive team on financial planning, risk management, and growth initiatives
- Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecast processes
- Provide actionable insights to drive margin expansion, working capital optimization, and sustainable growth
- Oversee trade spend planning, tracking, and optimization to maximize ROI
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams on pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness, and customer profitability
- Implement robust trade accrual processes and controls
- Develop advanced analytics to evaluate trade performance and improve promotional efficiency
- Direct all financial planning & analysis activities, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and performance reporting
- Develop KPI dashboards and executive-level reporting packages
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic recommendations
- Support capital allocation and investment decisions
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
- Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
- Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors
- Maintain strong balance sheet oversight, including inventory and cost management
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial leadership to drive gross margin improvement
- Lead inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and SKU profitability analysis
- Support new product launches with financial modeling and performance tracking
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making
- Improve cross-functional financial acumen across the organization
