Our client, a growing distribution company, is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Finance to partner closely with executive leadership and help drive financial strategy, planning, and performance across the organization. This role will serve as a key business partner to the CFO and executive team, providing financial insights that support operational execution and long-term growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on FP&A leadership with strategic decision-making in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the company’s annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning
- Build and maintain financial models to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency
- Develop monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for executive leadership
- Analyze sales performance, inventory trends, distribution costs, and working capital
- Partner with operations and sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy and KPI tracking
- Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to leadership
Strategic Finance & Business Partnership
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to the executive team
- Support pricing strategy, vendor negotiations, and capital allocation decisions
- Help evaluate new distribution channels, product lines, and expansion opportunities
- Provide financial support for M&A, integrations, and strategic initiatives, as applicable
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning processes, and financial visibility across the organization
Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead and mentor the corporate FP&A function
- Strengthen financial reporting processes, dashboards, and data visibility
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, supply chain, and sales
- Help implement or optimize planning tools, ERP reporting, and BI dashboards
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership
- Experience in distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or product-based environments
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering skills
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly
- Experience working in a growth-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA a plus)
Salary : $200,000 - $225,000
