Our client is a manufacturer of specialty resins and engineering materials used in multiple different industries. They currently seek a Process Engineer for their plant in north central LA. The ideal candidate will have process/production experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position has promotional potential and offers an excellent relocation package.

As a Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Daily troubleshooting and firefighting
  • Utilize Root-Cause analysis, risk assessment, and assist in HAZOPs
  • Continuously optimize production
  • Plan and manage various process improvement projects

Requirements:

  • BS, Chemical Engineering required
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility; chemicals preferred but will consider many different backgrounds including pulp and paper, resins, coatings, etc.
  • Must have experience in process and/or production engineering
  • Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility is ideal

Salary Range: Up to $120,000 10% yearly bonus potential
