Annual Salary Range: $54,672 – $62,100

Recruitment and Retention Bonus
Medical Assistants newly hired with the State of CA are eligible to receive a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $15,000 within the first 12 months of service.
Referral Bonus
All CDCR/CCHCS employees that refer a mental health clinician who is successfully hired by CCHCS may be eligible to receive a referral bonus of $5,000 per appointed referral.
To excel in this role, you should have:
A valid Medical Assistant certificate from one of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants
- California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants
- American Medical Certification Association
- American Medical Technologists
- American Medical Certification Association
