Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Systems Engineering and Cyber Support SME. This role will support for systems engineering, systems administration, and cybersecurity for U.S. Army Material Command (AMC) Enterprise Energy Data Reporting System (EEDRS) and Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS), and the customer is the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Mission Engineering Directorate (MED) at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Must have knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) and cybersecurity support for Operational Technology (OT) systems.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Assisting Mid-Level engineers and the Government in requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis
- Support UMCS Baseline Development
- Provide UMCS Maintenance and Sustainment
- Participate in UMCS CONUS / OCONUS Site Surveys
- Develop UMCS Site Required Documentation
- Support CONUS / OCONUS EEDRS and UMCS Installations and Troubleshooting/Repair projects
- Assisting in planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Assists in develop solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of front-end processing and network gateway appliances and /or software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
- Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering
- Excellent analytical and synthetical problem-solving skills
- Proficient written and oral communicator
- Exceptional computer skills and experience with modeling languages
- Strong customer service skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of engineering and technical leadership
- Experience with distributed computing technologies and with virtualization/ cloud-based technologies
- Ability to travel 50% - CONUS and OCONUS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or another STEM discipline
- Related certifications
Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
