CPMG, LLC are currently looking for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator in Oklahoma City, OK.
Summary:
To perform the following tasks to manage and maintain Pilot Bio-Production Facility (PBF) servers/systems. The objective is to keep IT servers/systems operating at peak performance and maintain accessibility for end-users. Unless specified all tasks will be performed at all CONUS WRAIR facilities and local customer's sites. System administration must occur on site.
Essential Job Functions:
- This will position will be performed during normal business days.
- Manage space on the network drives.
- Monitor system performance to determine current and potential problems and propose system additions and enhancements to improve performance.
- Support major system architecture changes and servers/devices migration such as:
- new devices deployment and movement
- new server deployment and movement
- and Virtualization architecture migrations.
- Be responsible for the management of UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows, VMware and other virtualized operating systems within the PBF Plant Network.
- Support and maintain the operating systems, patches, upgrades, Information Assurance (IA) requirements of all systems within the PBF Plant Network.
- Monitor and report on the status of the network and system devices.
- Ensure that these systems are online and available to PBF customers and ensure backups and contingency issues are addressed in the event of failures.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows, VMware and other virtualized operating systems
- Familiarity with Information Assurance (IA) requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
- Must have at minimum security or other equivalent 8570 certification.
- Windows System Administration certificate, MCSA.
- Must have a Top Secret Clearance.
