As one of our HR Business Partners, you will play a key role in ensuring alignment and delivery between HR strategy and business objectives across the firm. Serving as a trusted strategic partner and advisor to leaders and team members as part of a dynamic, growth-focused environment. What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Strengthen employee engagement, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance and support evaluation processes.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, documentation, and resolution.
  • Advise on disciplinary actions and terminations in compliance with employment laws and company policy.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide actionable feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain and support job descriptions, career paths, and development frameworks.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with Learning & Development to deliver solutions.
  • Partner with HR Operations on employment changes, promotions, and leaves of absence.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and HR best practices.

What You Bring

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of HR Generalist experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Working knowledge of compensation, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong proven understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience supporting multiple stakeholders and teams with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.

Nice to Haves:

  • Proven experience with compensation strategies, programs, or analysis.
  • Experience in the A/E/C or construction industry.

The rate for this position generally ranges between $80,000 and $90,000. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
