Overview
The Quality Assurance Specialist Performs internal audits in accordance with AS9101 to AS9100, NADCAP and Customer requirements; assists in regulatory and statutory audits (AS9100 & NADCAP) as an advocate for CPI Aero defending the documented Quality Management System. The Quality Assurance Specialist owns the customer complaint process, reviews document data packages for compliance to statutory, regulatory and customer requirements as required.
Essential Functions:
- Acts as an escort and internal point of contact for regulatory, statutory and customer audits; maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) through the steadfast application of the document change process and investigates, reports and responds to customer complaints through the application of the appropriate quality work instructions and corporate policies.
- Responsible for the legislation of all changes to the Quality Management System
- Assist in Customer and regulatory audits and respond to corrective actions as assigned.
- Legislate changes to the documented Quality Management System
- Maintain the documented Quality Management System with the most current documents,
- Investigate, report on, respond to, and maintain customer complaint responses and RMA material in accordance with CPI Aero’s Quality Management System,
- Perform other duties as required.
Additional/Specific Requirements
- ASQ CQA or RABQSA Lead Auditor Training
- CATIA Training
- Self-motivated individual
Education/Experience:
- 6 to 9 years in Quality Assurance with internal/external auditing experience and experience composing corrective action responses in the aerospace industry using and various analysis tools.
- AAS Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Prior aerospace experience with knowledge of Military and Commercial specifications desired

Pay: $74,000.00 - $135,795.00 per year
