Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manufacturing Engineer located in San Diego, CA. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing production methods, optimizing workflows, and troubleshooting technical issues in manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification
- Experience with prototype development and low-volume production.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality enhancement
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or related field
- Experience with Epicor and other engineering tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with quick decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with shop floor personnel, customers, and management.
