What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tax Accountant position at CPA Partners LLC?
We are currently looking for a new Senior Tax Accountant to join our team!

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of simple to complex Business and Individual Tax Returns
- Preparation of Trust, Non-Profit, Gift tax returns
- Preparation of annual tax planning and consultations with clients
- Assisting clients with business structure and the formation of new entities
- Consistently handle the complete client engagement and relationship
- Employs a reliable system for fulfilling responsibility for overall client engagement workflow of a particular client or clients.
- Preparation of Florida sales and use tax requirements and reporting
- Preparation of State and Federal payroll tax returns and annual tax filings, including notice resolution
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports in various Accounting Software Programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
- 5 years experience in taxation and accounting
- CPA License or eligibility to take CPA exam preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements (not required)
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools such as, Thomson Reuters Products and Onvio, QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently and manage their own projects
- Great communicator with the ability to convey both analysis and findings to management and external clients (verbal and written)
- Ability to research tax topics to answer tax questions and provide guidance
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online, to review accounting records and provide support to clients
- Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide superior client service
- A team player with strong relationship skills

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
